The Salvation Army Huron Service Unit serves Huron and the communities located in the 44839 ZIP code. We provide help to families and individuals related to past due utility bills, payment for needed prescription drugs and other qualifying bills. Please make an appointment to see if you qualify for aid. A helping hand is available to individuals between jobs, young families struggling to pay bills, single parents that cannot make ends meet, the elderly and physically disabled that cannot work. Depending on funding, individuals and families can be helped once or twice a year. All of our workers are volunteers who give of their time and money. Funds are raised each Christmastime through bell ringing, but please consider donating anytime during the year--your funds will assist your neighbors. |
