Youth Group and Children's Church
'UTH FIRE' Youth Group "Our God is a consuming fire.” Hebrews 12:29 That is the signature verse behind Lighthouse AG Church’s youth group "UTH FIRE."
The youth group is made up of junior high school and high school students ages 11-18. Everyone is welcome! Students from all local high schools attend. Find out for yourself how relevant, fun and awesome church can actually be. Youth group meets every Sunday night from 6 to 7:30 p.m. for a time of music, games and ministry led by Pastor Tom Holzaepfel along with UTH sponsors Dan Schardt and Tom and Lori Strause. We also have UTH events where youth can bring friends along for great times of fellowship. Previous events have included trips to the mall in Toledo and Cleveland for a fun day of shopping and fellowship as well as skiing at Brandywine, Christian concerts, sledding at Milan Edison Park and more. In addition, there is a large statewide youth convention held in Columbus with national speakers, top name Christian bands, live drama and more that youth can attend to help deepen their understanding and assist in a stronger relationship with Jesus. Other activities include summer camp and mission trips. Basically, this is an active youth group that loves Jesus, loves having fun and keeps busy! We welcome everyone in the spirit of grace and fellowship as family. Check us out and see for yourself!

Children's Church Sunday School is offered for children--and even adults--of all ages. Sunday School starts at 9:30 a.m. and is divided into classes by ages. Lighthouse Church also offers Children's Church during the Sunday morning service, for children 4-10 years old. The Children's Church teachers create a fun time for the children that has provides many opportunities to learn more about Jesus, the Bible and our faith. Special children's activities include summer Vacation Bible School and a Christmas program. A nursery for babies is also offered during Sunday School and Children's Church. |
